I'm planning on transferring to the college of Architecture and Urban studies at Virginia Tech from a two-year community college. For architecture major, i only have to stay for a year, and this is my first year. I'm planning on majoring in Architecture. Architecture to me is not just a major or a profession it's been the passion all my life. I also have exceptional talent in design and art.
I have 3.8 Cumulative GPA
Presidential Scholar
Speaks almost 6 languages (multi-lingual): Fluent in Indonesian, Javanese, Sundanese, and i have skills and communicate in French and Arabic.
I am multi-racial.
I've lived in three different countries.|||Don't listen to Leo. For whatever reason we find routes into what we want in life. One way or another. You may want to apply to more than just one arch. program, since it will increase your chances (obviously) of getting in somewhere to pursue your passion. For what it's worth, I've known people to have gone to less known institutions, including jr. colleges, and end up at the most prestigious programs studying their field. e.g. an ex-girlfriend of mine has a brother who couldn't get into NYU for film off the bat so he studied for a year at Binghamton and did well, re-applied, and got in. He was very successful in completing the bachelors and works in LA now. He is also checking out UCLA's masters program. So, keep up the good work and diversify your applications, and you will probably get in somewhere, perhaps even "better" than VA Tech.|||did you go to a community college because you are a doom-arrse or because it was cheaper? 3.8 ain't bad ... Vtech's a good school though..... hmmm.... well good luck!
