virginia: I'm trying to start a running routine - 5k/3miles in Virginia Beach, and it's Fall and the Winter's coming, and I love running outside in beautiful places during these seasons. Does anyone who's familiar with the Virginia Beach area know a beautiful and safe place to jog? If not, does anyone know of a website that may list some good places in Virginia to take a good run?|||Hello fellow VB'er :) when i want to jog i just bundle up and come down to the beach. its so quiet in the winter and nobody really bothers you. I also jog over at mount trashmore. Its safe, but its also a workout intensifier because you can run up hill.|||For you, it's the one besides your house. Yeah that one!|||i like to run on the beach.if not there is some gyms around depening on where you live in virgina beach|||try mt. trashmore. it's off 264 east, after the independent road exit. not only is there a nice trail, the park is beautiful.. as for the name...i can't help you on that one:-)
