the entire court decision is online for something that happened over 10 years ago when i was barely 21. no prior or further offenses. is it permanently online? i was told that there is no expunging records in Virginia, and it is hurting the hunt for a job. thank you.|||A misdemeanor from 10 years ago shouldn't effect getting hired.
There might be one or two employers who wouldn't hire someone with a misdemeanor. But if your doing a full job search then it isn't a problem.
I think you need to change the way your looking for work.|||Your conviction stays with you forever.
