virginia: I am newly registered, well I have applied in the middle of December but have not gotten my voter card yet. The Virginia application didn't have a slot to put your party affiliation.|||Virginia does not require you to register as a party member. This has it's advantages due to the fact that you can vote in either the Democratic or Republican primary without having to change your party membership prior to the primary.
