Effective immediately, your Account will be governed by federal law and the laws of the state of Virginia, and whether or not your Account is used outside of Virginia. Any one got any inklings what that's supposed to mean?|||I would check with the institution that supposedly issued the notice; however, I would say there is at least a decent chance that it is bogus or an attempt at phishing. If it came from a legitimate source, particularly the state government, it should say "Commonwealth," not "state" of Virginia.
