virginia: i got a ticket in virginia for having a altered state inspection. does anyone know how bad a fine is and what posible charges are applied after going to court?|||An altered inspection sticker is forgery in Virginia, and it is a felony. The inspection form itself is another matter, and I cannot find a statute to cover it. However, if the sticker was applied based on false inspection claim, that's probably fraud, at the very least. I'm going to predict jail for at least some of the people involved.
