virginia: What do you think the bright lights in the sky seen in Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina were, seen on Sunday march 29th. Viewers saw bright blue lights followed by a loud 'boom' sound, what do you think this was. The National Weather service says it was not related to the weather.|||It was determined to be a piece of space junk falling from a Russian rocket.|||Well I think maybe it was a meteor from what Ive gatherred from reading and watching witnesses accounts. Whatever it was though, I really believe the "boom" was a sonic boom from whatever was moving so quickly through the sky. We will just have to keep our ears and eyes open for this one!
