virginia: I live in Virginia and i like to always carry a knife on me and am wondering if i can legally carry my bowie knife or other knives/swords that are longer than 12 inches if they are not concealed (like on my belt). Thanks in advance.|||Bowie knives are specifically listed under VA Code 18.2-308 regarding concealed weapons. If you conceal it, you can be charged with carrying a concealed weapon. So carry it openly where it's legal to do so, or get a concealed weapons permit.|||Yes...|||you will have to check the laws in your state but i think you can't carry a knives on you more than 4in long.
