I was in the middle of getting my license in Texas when my family was restationed in Virginia. My dad still lives in texas, but since i'm a military dependent can i hold a texas license in virginia (where i would have to retake drivers ed and get a new permit and wait nine more months). And pleaaaase tell me where you found this information!
Thanks!|||If you are a resident of Texas, which you must have been to be in the middle of getting your license there, yes, you can hold a Texas license in Virginia if you remain a resident of Texas and are a tourist in VA. However, from your question it appears you don't have your TX license yet. If you're asking "Can I take the driving test in VA with a TX permit, and be issued a TX license?" No. You will have to go back to TX to get your license, but one you have it, it would be recognized in VA.|||dunnosrry|||dont have to retake test if you got a license
