I live in Reston, Virginia, and in two weeks, I will be going to pick up my new cat from her foster mother. She is an F4 Bengal cat, which means she is four generations removed from the Asian Leopard Cat. She is 2 years old, and will come with shot records, though her records before she went into foster care are not available. I want to know what would be the best place to go for her vet care, seeing as she would almost count as an exotic pet (in some states, Bengals who are less than five generations removed are considered exotic, but not in Virginia)? I will need to bring her to a good vet before the fourth of July, and I'd rather not wait until she's here to go searching.|||I have two F4 Bengal cats and I take them to a Feline Specialist Vet. You will probably have one of these in your area. I would search in your phonebook for a Feline Vet. They are usually familiar with the breed; our vet was! Enjoy your new kitty! Bengals are a very special breed and you will love her!|||I would check out http://www.reston.com .. its a great resource!
