Im 12, and I want a monroe piercing. I can't find an answer, I guess because virginia isn't really popular. I heard from a friend that it's 15 with a parents signature. Help please!|||From the state law:

Tattooing and Body Piercing-Prohibits anyone from tattooing or performing body piercing on a person under age 18, knowing or having reason to believe that the person is under 18 except in the presence of the person's parent or guardian or when done by or under the supervision of a medical doctor, registered nurse, or other medical services personnel in the performance of their duties. Excludes ear piercing as a form of body piercing.

Violators are guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor.|||18 is the legal age if your parents wont sign...even if your parents will sign most piercers will not do the piercing on anyone under 15

  • Will I have to file Virginia state tax returns? Will different with-holdings be taken from my check? Will my tax burden get larger because of TN and VA taxes? Are there any benefits from working in VA while living in TN?|||Virginia withholdings will be taken from your check. You will have to file a VA return in order to get a refund of your withholdings as a non resident.
There is no income tax in Tn except income taxes on investment income.
No benefits except a job - times are tight here in Tn at the moment.

I heard that UNC (university of north carolina-chapelhill) reserves 80% of their freshmen spots for people who reside in North Carolina. Somebody told me UVA does not do that and instead, UVA has a lmited amount of students they can take from VIrginia. Does anybody know what percentage that is?|||UVA is composed of 67% in-state students and
33% out-of-state students. So 2/3 of the spots filled for UVA is for students residing in Virginia, the other 1/3 is for out of state or international students.

Any other information regarding this school can be found on the link below.|||In 2006, UVA admitted 45% of their in-state applicants and 32% of their out-of-state applicants. Of the total enrolled freshmen class of 3,091 students, 1,969 of them were Virginia residence (about 64%.) According to the Princeton Review, state residency is a very important factor in candidate selection.

I am wanting to buy a shotgun. Money is not an issue, but buying one seems to be one.

I am from Texas, but am enlisted in the Army in Virginia. From my understanding I need my Military I.D., Driver's License and my Orders. I've been told I also need proof of where I live. I live technically live in the Barracks, and some bills go there, but I live with my GF. They said I need a hunting or fishing license also...any other things I need?|||You don't need a hunting or fishing license.

I tried to buy a long gun in Virginia years ago as a PA resident. I was just a little short on money, but they told me all I needed was proper ID and a clean background
