I bought a small Virginia Ham from Aldi and can't figure out if it has been cooked or not. In the ingredients list, it says smoked, so I think it has been smoked/cured in some way. But does that mean it is ready to eat? Can I slice it up and serve it on sandwiches? It doesn't say whether or not it is pre-cooked. It looks just like the ham you buy from the deli to make sandwiches with.|||It's not legal for it to be labeled "Virginia ham" until it has been cured, and cured ham can be eaten as is.|||i live in virginia and we do, what a stupid question do you have anythying better to do.
