Otherwise, go to any plant that loads trucks and ask them if they would be willing to quickly weigh your truck. When my son worked at a sugar factory, they had a weighmaster. They would have done that for you, no problem. If you are having trouble locating a weigh station, call a national trucking company, like CR England, or Swift...their dispatcher can probably point you to the nearest one to you.|||Truckstops with CAT certified scales are your best bet . State DOT scales will not weigh you for that purpose. Some truckstops use Interstate Certified Scales which are also good. Not knowing a town you are near I suggest doing a web search for Pilot Truckstops , Loves Country Stores, Travel Centers of America , Petro Truckstops and Flying J Truckstops , they all will have one of the two scales. To avoid any discrepancies , weigh the truck first , then when loaded .
