virginia: Well my mom and I are planning on taking a trip down there to see my boyfriend for the summer and we were just wondering how long it would take to get from austin texas to covington virginia if we drove. PLEASE ANYONE CAN ANSWER THIS! (:|||Covington, Va is roughly 1,350 miles from Austin, Tx. Quite a trip. It will take over 22 hours to drive, depending on stops. Hope it helps :)|||I've driven this way before (not to Covington specifically, but very close) - and unless you and your mom both don't mind driving while the other sleeps, this will take two days to do comfortably, particularly factoring in gas and food stops. You'll definitely want to stop somewhere between Memphis and Nashville for the night, as that's about midway. Have fun!
