Virginia conceal carry at work?|||The only problem would be if your company has a zero tolerance for weapons in the work place. If they do, you can get fired, but not arrested. Its one of the few firearms laws that still need to be challenged in front of SCOTUS|||Yes, they could carry the firearm to work. However, most employers would fire you for that because they have policies explicitly forbidding it. Otherwise it would be illegal (via trespassing) if your state allows businesses to post signs saying "No firearms permitted in these premises" or something similar, as if you do not follow that, you are trespassing.|||I agree with the other answers but I would even expand that to any privately owned building or property.
