I would like to plant Virginia creeper vines (Parthenocissus quinquefolia) on my fence! But I want a fast growing vine that could cover my ugly fence quickly, Will this do the trick? How fast Can I expect it to get by the fall time?|||Swot up on this site it`s comprhensive http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/1695鈥?/a>|||Personally - I would not use it. Some people are allergic.
Yes, it grows fast but is also invasive. Plus - you will soon find seedlings where they are not wanted.
Consider something else. See source for more information.|||I wouldn't do that if I were you. Virginia Creeper is hugely invasive! It's fast growing, can crowd out other plants, and looks nasty in the fall when it's declining for the winter. We've been trying to get that crap out of our yard for years.
