I have a suspended drivers license in the state of virginia. Does that mean my license is suspended in all states even though my license is from New Mexico?|||Both states you mention has signed the Drivers License Compact http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Driver_Lice鈥?/a> so they exchange information on license suspensions and traffic violations.
.|||Yes, pretty much all of the states are connected now. Foul in one state is a foul in them all. Best to take care of the suspension rather than risk getting caught again for driving while suspended.|||You live in the Commonwealth of Virginia. It is not a state.
Your license, if suspended in any state, it is suspended in all of them. They are attached to a MV network and any other state will know your license is suspended.
