virginia: Im buying a car in virginia but live in PA, on the invoice there is a fee for "Dealers Business License Tax" of $44.24. What is this tax? Am I required to pay this fee or is this another "Processing Fee" they try to slip by ya?|||its a tax that they should pay but are passing on to you. i am a Ky dealer staying in Fl for the winter and most dealers in Fl advertise a $500 dealer fee that they say is law that they charge the customer. in reality that is hogwash they are just draining the customers wallet.|||It's a tax they are passing along to the consumer. good luck getting them to pay it for you. Remember you don't have to buy the car from them but they do need to sell cars to stay in business. I know you sure would hate to drop the whole deal over $44 bucks :) .
