I really need help! I want to go to a college out of state but I want it to have Virginia instate tuition.|||I think you mean that you are a Virginia resident and want to go to a college outside of Virginia where you will pay Virginia instate tuition fees. If you live or go to high school in a county which borders another state, there might be some colleges in the other state which have an arrangement with Virginia to charge their own instate tuition to Virginia residents. Your high school's college guidance counselor can help you if this situation applies to you.

I am not aware how you could pay Virginia instate tuition at an out of state college. Virginia is a large enough state that you can find a Virginia public college which is far enough away from home so that you feel that you have gone away to college. There is no particular advantage to going to a college just because it is in another state.

You might get some ideas about colleges to consider from the college finder at http://collegesearch.collegeboard.com.

Best wishes.|||Most colleges require you to be a resident for a minimum of 1 year, before they will give you in-state tuition rates.
